Cookie and External Technologies Policy

This page explains how the Decent Home Care website uses cookies, browser storage, and related external technologies. It reflects the verified website implementation as of the dates above.
1. What cookies and similar storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website or third party may store on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage in the browser. Not every third-party request uses cookies.
2. First-party cookies and browser storage on this website
Based on the current website code:
- Decent Home Care does not intentionally set first-party cookies
- The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies
- The website does not use
localStorageorsessionStorage - Contact-form values and Turnstile tokens are not written to first-party browser storage
3. Cloudflare Turnstile
On the contact page, when the form is configured, Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent automated abuse. Turnstile loads a script and challenge interface from Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical information (such as IP address and browser signals) to complete the security check. We treat Turnstile as form-security functionality needed to submit the contact form.
Cloudflare’s own privacy terms apply to its processing. We do not control Cloudflare’s product behavior beyond configuring the widget and verifying tokens on our server.
4. Google Fonts
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts so pages can display our typography. When your browser requests those font files, Google receives an ordinary HTTP request that typically includes technical network information such as your IP address and user-agent.
We do not claim that Google Fonts sets cookies on our behalf. Google’s documentation for the Google Fonts API states that the Fonts API does not set or log cookies. Google’s practices may change, and Google’s own privacy terms apply to its services.
5. Unsplash images
Some pages load images from Unsplash’s image hosts. When those images load, Unsplash receives the image request and related technical information. Unsplash’s terms and privacy practices apply. Maps and directions are not provided through Unsplash.
6. Google Maps outbound links
“Get Directions” links open Google Maps in a new browsing context. Google receives information only when you choose to follow that link. Maps are not embedded as iframes on Decent Home Care pages.
7. Hosting and security infrastructure
The website is served from infrastructure documented for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, with Caddy providing HTTPS and reverse-proxy features. Technical request information may be processed by that infrastructure for delivery, security, and operations.
8. Vendor privacy terms
External vendors may process technical information under their own privacy terms. Review those terms for details about their cookies, logs, and retention. Decent Home Care’s Privacy Policy describes the broader information practices for the website and contact form.
9. Why We Do Not Currently Display a Cookie Banner
The verified website does not currently use optional analytics, advertising, marketing pixels, chat widgets, or other preference-based tracking categories that would require an accept/reject preference panel on this site. For that reason, we do not currently display a cookie-consent banner.
This is not a permanent promise that a banner will never be required. If Decent Home Care later adds analytics, advertising, embedded media that sets nonessential cookies, or similar optional technologies, this policy and the consent approach must be reassessed before those tools go live.
10. Browser controls
You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies, and to control some site data. Blocking third-party content may affect fonts, images, or the Turnstile security check. If Turnstile cannot load, online form submission may be unavailable; you can still reach us through our Contact page.

We will update this page when cookie or external-technology practices change. Check the “Last updated” date above.
